has to go through. I try to help as much as possible, but also my time, nerves and means are
limited. It is a tragedy and frustrating that all this can happen in the 3rd millennium!
Due to the amount of messages received, I can only list a fraction here.

Dear Mr. Neumann,

I don't know any more what to do after so many visits to the doctor, I am at the end. Me and my little daughter also suffer from this disease, but no one can or will help. My daughter is shunned at school and has no friends. For her it's probably the worst! Constantly the rashes and itching. We sent the threads from the skin directly to a laboratory, but the lab couldn't analyze them properly, other than finding polysaccherides and some bacteria that aren't pathogens. Do you still know doctors, etc. Please contact me soon, we are at despair.

I just finished high school and had a lot of stress in the last couple of years. Now I have been having small dots on the neck area for 3- 4 months and now also on my labia - there also so knotty, itchy pimples form. There are also long white threads coming out of the vagina. My boyfriend has also the itching and he has more pustules and threads on the beard and head area. We used a kid microscope and found white and black threads in his sperm.

We were already visiting 12 dermatologists and no one could or wanted to help us. We are desperate - at the beginning of our lives - we are now already at the end. Please, please, help us, we can no longer bear it. Like me, my boyfriend is constantly tired and exhausted and is already thinking of suicide. The eyes also burn and small, black grains come out. The gums are already attacked, but my dentist thought I brush them wrongly! Now all at once?

A year ago, he told me that he had never seen such beautiful, healthy teeth and gums as I have. Doctors are simply blind to such diseases. What else can we do? We are very desperate and actually very hygienic people. Thank you very much for your site and I hope you have some time to reply.

I am a police officer and I am under constant stress with burn-out syndrome. I have daily contact with a lot of people and probably I got infected somewhere at my work. I noticed it when I had constant itching and smaller pimples or bubbles on my neck and behind my ears. After rubbing with a sanitary towel, small dark threads were seen in the towel.
Meanwhile also my wife (nurse) is infected and my little son (8 years). How can this disease be treated and where can I go? There is nobody else like you, doing such a job to help people who have been ill with this disease. You own my full respect!! I can only express my admiration for you, because you also have to fight against authorities, and after so many years of struggle, humiliation and constant discrimination against you, you are still there for all of us and you have not given up! Thank you again, from person to person!!!

I need your help! My sister suffers from Morgellons syndrome (for 1.5 years). She lives in Canada and still hasn't found a doctor. No one believes her... She is very down, has no more power... Has had a baby in November 2010. The boy also has symptoms! I would like to seek advice. How can you continue to live with it? Is there any medication?? Can I talk to you? I would very much ask you for a reply! Please help us!!!

Good morning Mr. Neumann,

I am a physician and have been ill with Morgellons for 4 years. Of course I took enough antibiotics myself, etc., unfortunately all symptoms flared up again after discontinuation of the medication. Under the microscope I also saw these colorful filaments as you show in your images. Serologically, there were no significant markers for a bacterial infection, only band 41 (western blot), which probably indicated a bacterial infection, but certainly not Lyme disease.
It is exactly as you described it, and that you can`t fight such biofilms just using antibiotics.
Let's see if science finds anything soon. I can`t outing myself otherwise the patients would stay away from me. I will get back to you soon and would like to thank you very much for your pioneering work! Keep going, but spare yourself as often as possible, the world needs smart minds like you! Collegial greetings.

Crawly itch all over specks, fibres, white sesame seed things, white specks, red blue fibres, exhausted, bone pain legs, burning sensation feet, numb hands, bite marks, puncture wounds, uttetly despairing, isolated frightened but fighting. Swarmed at by tiny dark insects in infested flat 20 months ago, after 7 months, left my home, threw everything out, moved, still infested feet,a year later 2 months ago,tried on trousers my friend gave me, and got full blown infestation, bites all over legs, then rest body, then specks, fibres out of craely skin, shopasdistants scratch head near me,same as when in other house now.
Specks everywhere, im crawling, dog infected, i feel like im in hell again, can`t believe it for the second time elissa was negative, doctor, dermatology, infectious disease bastards all dismiss me. however my friend who gave me infested trousers and who originaly helped me when i was in infested first house tested positive for lyme elisa i think she has mites or morgellons in her house and when around her i got black specks on my head before re infestation, we cant meet again

My arms were covered w/ horrid sores, most are now healed but still have white patches, hair badly infested and falling out, low energy, poor concentration, & cyclic pain/stiff joints. HMO (kaiser) no help, faulty sub-std. diagnostics, test values, and exam procedures, given steriods and tape to put on sores. Getting better but it's been a long haul. Got medicine myself and would have been lost or dead w/o your website. I did this survey a couple of yrs ago, but thought an update was appropriate because of new insight and information.

My main complaint is the scarring on my face b-cuz i had nice skin. friends said my skin was like porcelin. these sores hurt they leave deep pock like scars. ive been to several drs. 2derm and lost 2 gen practice drs over this . ive been on 11 diff meds topicial and antibiotics.drs seem to be so no shellont im 57 and feel trapped in my home. My face looks all bummpy like cellulite about my 4+yr battle.hosp twice 4 cellulitis.
I have a weakened immune system due 2 other illinesses so im ready to just cut my head off and throw it away sir. thank u for letting me share.if u cld suggest anything to help it wld b appreciated but im not holding u to anythng cuz mayb this is my end anyway.im tired of believing or trusting. i feel so insignificant that i dont want to b here taking up space when there is so many people who are worth enough to b here and contribute to this world. i have no one b-cuz im no one. again thx 4 letting express my feelings dr

I believe I contracted this condition while laying pallets of grass in Texas that had swarms of fire ants on it. The grass came from Corpus Christi, Texas where they spray heavily for the ants. One day I became covered with ants and washed off in a pond. I was bit countless times. I became very ill. After that I only had internal symptoms for fifteen years with no idea what was going on until I had bladder surgery and moved to Hawaii. Then every symptom showed up. I then had steroids injected into my back and it hit a nest and I
believe that that excellerated the process and when that site hatched I felt them go through my spine all over my body even to my brain. In six months from onset of symptoms to now I have gone through all the stages I see and hear about on the sites posted and have stuff happening nobody is talking about.

After Rotater Cuff surgery was itchy inside all over. Then arm broke open with black spot and white worm. Those cleared up but different kind of worm in nose now...and mechanical type bugs that morph to jelly stage. I have cut my nose to pieces trying to rid myself of these and just now coming to terms with fact that they are not real, except in my head (but in my heart I know they truly live! to torment me, bite me,cause my family to turn away from me..my husband stands with me..but it is a sturggle for him some days as it is forme) I want my life back and my art back and my grandchildren back. Help me and others like me, please. I could see you believe us..thank you and thank God. I have asthma..adult onset for yrs., RM, Restless leg since I was a teenager,Fibro./sensativity in toes and fingers to cold;for nearly 30 yrs we lived in a farming community that sat in a valley...plus the land directly behind our house for two blocks was farmed out; and KCP&L the electric company with it's smoke stakes would pour smoke back into town when the wind was coming out of the E. And we had the Mara de Scene river and the water foul...I have a hemoplacmoses (?) caused from the dropping of the birds..mine calcified. I have had pneumonia 6mos.the first time, and the croupe,then within the last five yrs. I have it again at least once.I do not smoke, nore does my husband but my parents smoked

Currently doc said I have MRSA. 4 episodes in a years time. Whem not on antibiotics I go through extreme fatique. Strange fevers come on suddenly, chills. I usually lie down and immediately sleep for a few hours. Next day may awake as if I finally broke a fever and just feel lethargic for days. This crazy skin itching brought me here (and keeping me awake). I have to say, and I'm also sorry to say, because it's not meant to be mean but this article about Mogellons you wrote seems quacky and even this questionaire seems quacky too. But I answered it if in case you are actually conducting research that will help others heal. quacky question: do I attract insects now more than ever? LOL. Insects always seemed to like the taste of me.

Not getting more now than I did before. I am an outdoorsy person who camped alot. All that I wrote is me being lighthearted about this so don't get defensive about the seeming cut ups. Have a good laugh and look at it from an outsiders perspective if you were to answer some of these questions from an outsiders view. Btw, perhaps this will also help. In my 20s I was sprayed with a heaping amount of aerial bug spray while trekking in the woods. I was not able to wash/shower for hours until I got out and home. No notices were posted in the area.I was soaked from the dousing the airplane dropped on the whole area. Btw, the ending of your article was so odd. Trying to induce paranoia?? Or just you being paranoid? Strange Oh! Good luck with your research I hope it helps in a positive way the ones who suffer from this.

I HAVE NO LESS THAN 25 HUGE WEEPING, CRUSTY WOUNDS COVERED BY A STRANGE "CALLOUS" WHICH PROTECTS THE MONSTERS UNDERNEATH. WHEN I PULL A CALLOUS OFF, THE UNDERSIDE IS FILLED WITH LIGHT RED GELATINOUS GOO. I USE A 15X JEWELERS LOUPE TO GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHAT I'M LOOKING AT (MY EYESIGHT HAS DETERIORATED RAPIDLY OVER THE PAST YEAR) I'VE PULLED LONG STRANDS OF RED MONSTERS WHEN I SCOOP OUT WHAT WAS UNDERNEATH THE CALLOUS.I RECENTLY PULLED A "SHRIMP" IS THE ONLY WAY TO EXPLAIN IT. I SAVED MANY, MANY OF THESE MONSTERS BUT THE "DR" THREW THEM AWAY WITHOUT SO MUCH AS A LOOK, PLUS THEY HAD NO MICROSCOPE, THE EEJITS. ANYTHING I CAN DO TO HELP THE CAUSE WILL MAKE ME FEEL BETTER AND PERHAPS HELP YOU AND YOUR RESEARCH. GLAD I FOUND YOUR SITE, IT'S WONDERBAR!

The 2 other factors I consider significant were that I used several types of fungicides to try and get rid of all the fungus and 2- we had an exaggerated problem with insects around the house too - fungus gnats would invade the inside of our home every night (were talking by the thousands!), tons of slugs were eating all our flowers, and during the month of july & august we had corn root worm bugs take over our gardens that had came over from the farmers crops across the street and down the road. I used SEVERAL different kinds of insecticides and fungicides all summer long. (I can provide names of them if you need them - just ask) Gardening this past summer (both veg./fruit & flower) was HORRIFIC due to the intense drought conditions and high temps we experienced. Back to the bites, which by the way the only way i could be outside was to wear a 99% DEET product every day (which i have worn before with no issues).... within a day or 2 of getting the insect bites my leg was swollen and insanely itchy and I noticed that I was getting more and more bites by the day - which turned in to the lesions that covered both of my arms, both of my entire legs, my scalp and back of my neck. from that point on came the black, blue & red fibers coming out of the lesions -

the white cotton material oozing out of them with showering, the vision problems and increasing short-term memory loss! Starting in September i had been attacked by springtails and became! totally infested with them, as well as our home. They went away once it got cold and dry enough. Now in February, my lesions are healing, but at a very slow pace! My home has been totally taken over by these fibers and ever worse are my clothes! I have bouts of itching randomly, can't remember a damn thing much less have a complete thought and have had my life totally taken away! I am so angry all of the time because my husband and 3 young children just want "ME" back and they don't really understand. I can't be the active, and totally involved mommy I naturally am and I have NO social interactions anymore. Life just totally SUCKS right now. The nutrasilver has given me hope in getting better - if I can remember to take it 3 times a day - and knowing I'm not crazy helps too. I have not been or am suicidal - but I get where some may have felt that way! If there is anything I can do to help - just ask! I have physical samples going back to the first week of having morgellons! I have collected fibers, springtails and anything else I thought mite be helpful one day. Just an fyi. I have painful spreading, so called, sores. I say so called because there are actually morgie bugs in the scabs and just under the skin. They bite, sting and can inject stuff into the skin. Morgie spiders can hook their web on the skin and drop down. Other things that come out of my sores and skin...fibers (white & colored) that sting, black specs, eggs/seeds/pods, crystal/glass like particles,worms/slugs and all the usual bugs that are found. I have had Morgellons for 4yrs. and have taken Mebendezole for it most of that time and it helped 60 to 80% for me.

Then a couple of months ago, my insurance stopped covering the Mebendezole. The Morgellons got worse than it had ever been. It was from head to foot and I couldn't sit down because of pain or wear normal clothing and couldn't be touched. By accident I discovered Liquid CoQ10, trying it for my Fibro, and here 4 days later I am approx. 40% healed of the Morgellons... I am absolutely amazed so far and wanted to share this with you! Morgellons has ruined my life. There is something living in my skin and I have to deal with it everyday. My parents think I'm crazy but I see it. It sucks even more because I have been diagnosed bipolar with pyschotic tendencies. So they think its a pyschotic behavior and its not. Its like God is playing a sick joke on me. I dont know how much longer I can go on like this. thanks for this website

My hair moves like snakes. I feela worm under my scalp and on forehead and temples all under the skin. I have black specks on my cheek and black specks come out of my mouth with mouthwash. I have no trouble sleeping most nights and it is hard for me to wake up and even open my eyes...my bangs rustle at night and something gets in my eyebrow. Racing heart once in a while...constipated and poop every 4 days or so...stomach ache...dull ache...spot while having sex...head aches...can't get enough coffee...stinging sensation in legs which leaves a slight round small rash and a thistle sticking outo of it but cant grab it cuz it barely on surface of skin...this thistle will retreat back into skin...scratches on my body...2 lesions of forehead and one on hand...some on top of arms that comea and go...white spots where lesions were...always tired...arms ache daily and elbow is freezing up at times...

sharp pains in left arm and tingling feet...movement under skin sometimes at night in calves of legs...something visits my hair every 3 days or so and slowly moves around my head constantly doing something but when i feel it out i cannot find anything...congested and cough at night and nasal runs when i look down...sore throat that came and went and nausea regulary a few months ago and vomiting recently...odd stings on arms and legs that produce a small bump that heals...sores on crown of head that heal...I do not itch and recently became allergice toa medthat i've taken for years and break outin hives butthat disapeared as well...I never itch or get itchy anywhere on my body or scalp....weird sleep in eyes every morning...eyes water likea river when the wind blows...cannot stand wind or cold any more....lower back pain lately which ive never had in my life...

last year severe infamed spine in the mid section of back lasted 4 month....head lice that ive never had in my life...my hair ate them i know that for a fact...they ran for their life literally....i limp from joint pain...hips are bad pain...phones a! nd landl ines have a habit of not working or fouling up....no energy and aking meds for depression and anxiety for 5 months now...have trouble urinating...poop is like hard round balls when i can poop....hair rustles at neckline one in a while...and crawl feeling on neckwhere spine is to the right of it...hair hasn'[t moved in 3 days cus i comb it constantly to remove the stingers at the end...plus i took valiuma and it seems to make hair quiet and still and worm under hair still...i contractd this from jy dirty neighbor who literally lives like a pig...vision getting worse and forgetting things...forgot how to sign my name the other day....I don't see things that are infront of me

Severly anemic, sores that take a long time to heal and the things that come out of the sores look just like your pictures. I am saving them in a baggie. Fibers that come out of my skin sores and my hair, enlongated things in skin, little black things that look like eggs. This is all so very sickening to me and it makes me feel like I'm a dirty person but I'm not. I'm a very clean person but that doesn"t seem to matter. I need help and the doctors don`t believe me even when I show them these things in the baggie.

Never had acne even as a teen my friend described my skin to a doc as looking like porclein and im 58, so theres gotta be a couple lines and crows feet but never like this! its litterley ruined my skin it looks lumpy and there devits and the skin looks like white deep scars my eyebrows are almost non exsistant because these sores seems to stop the hair frm growing back.

my teeth have been decaying and falling out rapidley. i hav approx 10 symptoms listed above. ive been to two dermatologists one said as us mentioned neurotic excervation 2nd derm followed suit without using exact words-just didnt seemed interested it was obvious. er visits approx 5. cellulitis&serious skin lesions. iv vancomyicin with follow up zivox which i didnt receive cuz prim care dr was an idot and wldnt send it thru my insurance carrier. she is no longer my dr either! this has ruined my life socially and emotionally, and continues to do so. what shld i do? considered going back to my internal med/gastro interologist,who treated my hep-c.cld he run the tests i need? plz tell me which tests that need to be run as im noy clear on everything. ive been low on vitamin d for awhille also take 50thous units once a week

Severe fatigue, increased anxiety and depression, bad memory; skin lesions, new moles appearing, below-the-surface pimples that never go away, fibers coming out of skin, black thorns and granules in skin, developed cellulite all over, and have weird things coming out of my skin and possibly nose - black specks, hairs, fibers...interestingly, some things I find coming out of me are identical to certain things in the household environment -

feathers like the ones in the pillows; small fluffy pieces that are the same as the bedding I use for my pet rats; strands of what looks exactly like the carpet, etc. Sometimes when I sneeze or press on a pimple or skin mark that hurts, a fly appears out of nowhere. I have determined that these things are somehow coming from me by cleaning my bathroom extensively, covering the floor with a white sheet, and making sure there was nothing at all in the room. Then I would blow my nose or pick at my skin and random things - fibers, hairs, glitter - appear suddenly..

Depressive, lack of motivation, or self limitedness that seems to come over me and produce lethargy and brain fog. I really had no idea what brain fog until began to present itself along with the skin issues I had been facing. I would forget simple tasks I had needed to do and there would be this deathly coldness that would practically stay with me all day long. I the past have I cannot recall ever experiencing symptoms clustered together like this especially never ever seen anything in terms of those threads/fibers/even slithers of pieces of blue, red, purple!

I also never had any issues with pain and whatever was "hitting me" would seem to do so at different times of the day and and I experienced a higher susceptibility to intense pain and aches.. Hot knees, headaches, unbelievable dizziness... The Skin issues I had and still have(but less expressive)that relate to Morgellons but are not full blown Morgellons have seemed to tone down and I have been doing A LOT LESS(showering everyday is a no-no-as well as washing in any form, water would break my healing lesions up/soften the skin too much, AND not putting a lot of my face-the minimal!) Strangely I had been seeing these blue thready fibers for months straight but at this time they haven't been as agressive, although I have seen them still. For instance,

I will see them if I am swabbing an open wound as the fibers will stick to the cotton swab. I have have seen them still in skin wounds. But I wish I could say that all the oddities produced in my skin have gone away, the latest thing is I have these seed shaped shards of white particles that seem to keep popping up on my face, back of my neck and on my chest and neck. I have never had these things before and notice they have that stinging effect known to that produced in Morgellons sufferers. I've been given the cold shoulder by every medical professional I have visited and that includes Dermatologists, an Allergist, and an Infectious Disease Dr. It is hard because these problems are clear !

To the naked eye, there should be concern on the side of practitioners bearing witness to these things but there isn't. There is instead this obsession with the belief that the patient is "picking" or a "picker" which IS NOT TRUE for me and I am sure countless, if not, all Morgellons suffers, such a response is not only one of indifference, it is COUNTERINTUITIVE to the whole process we all endure in hopes of getting answers from the medical community

My dermatologist sad I don't have anything. I bought a mini microscopy, and I saw that little thing. I'm looking for treatment or good doctor in my area. My husband doesn't know what I have. My body itch all over, include nose, ears, eyes and scalp. I have a sinus drenage, bumps with little black dots.Crawling feeling on the skin, like invisible bugs Pinching, biting, stinging or prickling on the skin. Lesions sore. I have a lot of other symptoms but could be from Hepatitis C treatment.I'm very scare.Please, help me. Thanks

I think Mayo Clinics in Jacksonville FL did a lyme teat, negative but diagnosed as dermatitis. I think it is a wrong diagnosis. Told them repeatedly that it lookes like worms andvthey replicate themselves fast and furiously. Looked at them with microscope for two years. They spring and jump and scare the hell out of me when this happens because they remain alive and invisable and spread. This IS A PANDEMIC AND THE GOV IS DOING NOTHING TO HELP! Getting worse again. Albendazol was given to me twice back to back and my skin almost cleared up, but one small spot. I asked doctor to give me a 3rd dose nut he would not. So stuff came back, full force.

Almost 2 years ago I started to get lesions on my skin that would seem to never heal. After my Doctor told me that I had many allergies to pets so I found homes for my dog and cat. Shortly after I was attack my mites on my legs arms back face. These were very painful open lesions, I had seen my Doctor for treament and was treated for scabies. I new this was not a scabbies infection, as I had many birds in my yard at home, I would feed and handle some of the birds and notice that I had been bitten by a bird mite. They then got into my home and seem to never go away no matter what I did.sprays, fogers ect; I even left my home for 7 days in hope they would die off. But still I was being attacked by these mites.I clean all the time and wash my person and hair none stop.I have tried so many things and still I am getting bites.I am married but my husband does not suffer from any of the bites as I do?

I do know that they do get on him as well,but he does not suffer.I am beside myself as to what kind of treatment to use I am running out of Ideas,and fear that this could really kill me one day if I do not get HELP. I did much research to find out what I was dealing with.These mites were sent to a lab and identifide as bird mites.I then went on line and found ypur web site, I could not believe that so many people were suffering from the same thing as I listen to your radio show. I really thought I was the only one that had this problem.My mariage has also suffer as well. My husband does not seem to understand what this has done to me. I try to explaine to him and show him the pain I am in and the sleepless nights I have and the stress that I am under.But he thinks it will just go away.I keep away from him and sllep alone I stay in my home all the time,and wear close that fit tight and scoks long sleeves,so that I keep my body covered to prevent furthor bites.It seems to help some what but I still get bites. I was bitten so badly on my back next to my spine in 2 areas that caused permenet damage in my back,as they did a ! MRI to s ee how far down the absess went they were very deep. Well, where do begin. So i was over at my aunts cleaning cause she has always had bad cleaniness skills. when i was stading by a crap load of boxs that had not been gone through in years. my dead god daughts clothes what was in them. I started to feel this crawling sensation around my ankles then quickly it swarmed my whole body and i was feeling biting-stinging sensation. after that i had really bad back and neck pains that with time increased more and then more problems occured. and thy only got more horrific than they already where. its in my hair and my twobeautiful baby girls hair also we have most of the symptoms on the web site. i just dont know how much longer i can handle this.

Heavy legs, joint pain, gum deterioration, hair loss, fatigue, shingles like sensation in face, psoriasis type skin condition,partner has more evidence of morgellons in terms of various debris identical to the photographs displayed on this site. Severe immunocompromised, systematic fungus, rare infections, CFS, Fibro, Lyme, Morgellons, parasites, terminally ill, per doctor. Many pics of the years of progression. Depression, family has distanced themselves from me, 27 yrs. best friend can see how bad i am now and is afraid to be around me. I am alone with this scarey thing that has taken over my body. My home is alive with wall growths and freakish, too loud sounds, of bug activity and them hitting a solid surface, it seems too loud for small bug, but have recorded it happenning, as it's now constant, anywhere I go, not just at home any longer. I was doing fine for quite awhile, although as a pet groomer I have been seeing these critters off and on for years on myself and my clients pets. Then, I had a major emotional upset in my life, got sick and was told I had anemia. Next thing I know, I get dog lice, head lice, scabies, and ring worm, all at the same time. I had been noticing a difference in some of the dogs coats during the last 6 months. They all seemed thicker, heavier and they never seemed to shed their winter coats. In April, I got a pretty severe infection in my index finger and needed to buy magnifying glasses so that I could have both hands free. I noticed some strange debris collecting under my nails that was identifiable with the magnifying headgear as these same bugs. The hairballs, gubbers, dirtballs, and little critters as I called them.

The other parasites I had contracted were easy to get rid of, not only on myself, but also my indoor cat and my clients. The problem now is the Morgellons. I can't believe the amount of debris they can leave on a typically easy dog such as a Labrador. I sadly have to tell you, Veterinarians are just as bad as the doctors. I provided hair samples of my findings in little zip lock sandwich bags for my weekly clients so they could have their vet analyze it and let us know what the remedy is. The Vets basically told my clients that I was delusional. Thankfully my clients are well educated, wealthy, and know that I am anal when it comes to the care of their pets skin and coat. They know I'm perfectly sane and professional at work, and know that they can leave it in my hands and I will find a solution.

I use Dawn dish soap, original regular for the first bath followed by a 3% benzoyl peroxide shampoo that I leave on for 10 minutes before rinsing. I then comb out the sticky threads with a flea comb. I've been doing this now for three weeks and my weekly clients are nearly back to normal. One thing I noticed that hasn't gone back to normal is the texture of their coats is very very fine now. Almost too soft. That was one of the first things I noticed about my own hair as well and with it being super fine it responds more to static electricity which these buggers seem to put off. When I have a dog on my table with Morgellons the hair on my head literally stands on end. I joke and say, "Oh your bugs want to have a meeting with my bugs." Sick humor is sometimes the only way to get through something such as this. I do hope I can get through this. I'm taking a week off this week just to stay at home, recover, get health insurance, and find a Dr. who will treat me for Lime disease without a positive test result. I can't tell you how thankful I am that you put together this website for me to find. I feel so much better that you posted pictures that look exactly like my samples magnified at 60Xs. What a blessing to know my misery has company.

Emerging fibres mainly black and white coming from body, face and scalp. Lesions on face only, immune to cease. Itching, stinging. Emerging 'granules.' Swelling in certain areas mainly face.itchy burning rashes. Self esteem issues, brain fog. I am currently undergoing treatment through a naturopath. July 2010 I had sores appear on my back thta would not heal. Was told it looked like scabies and used neem oil. Not sure if helped but they healed after months. This followed an intense return to gardening including lots of contact with soil over two months. September 2011 under very intense ongoing stress. November 2011 diagnosed with Lupus and began taking Plaquenil. Family began noticing cognitive changes. Short term memory, and recall. January 2012 resumed lots of gardeniing, again with lots of contact with soil for three months. Insomnia , agitation and fearfulness began.

Next inability to manage time and was circling about unable to complete tasks. By July, unable to work, overwhelming fatigue, cognitive problems. Anger, agitation, and then experiencing and seeing insects in and around my body. Sores broke out everywhere. Looked like cigarette burns. If scratch, a thin layer of what seemed like keratin protein would form. Fingers splitting open at juncture of fingertip and cuticle. Panic attacks and frantic. Family tried to have me enter psych facility. I left home and went to hotel. Fear they would not find cause. Saw family physician and he prescribed antibiotics and told family medical condition. My hair texture changed. It resembled dreadlocks, and turned copper color. One angle it was gray, another angle reddish, another angle, black. Was afraid I had lost my mind and would not recover. I am on the mend. Back to work after two weeks out.

A year ago I began to get these cuts on my finger tips that wouldn't heal. Prior to that, after a 5 month stay in LA, I developed classic OCD (I check everything a million times!) Pimples that have no real pus in them. I used to have some regular acne, no more. This is weird. I'm guessing gram-neg/fungal folliculitis is closest. Losing a lot of scalp hair, but face is now covered in lanugo/vellus hair. When tweezed out, root is extremely thick, gelatinous, and bleeds like mad. Thick white dots next to follicles that I can tweeze with some difficulty, very thick...EVERY damn follicle, it seems. Unrelated injuries get infested too. Mostly face, breasts, bra line (getting pressure sores there that burst open with the weird white follicles).

Everything takes forever to heal. Skin was falling off ears in huge itchy white patches like yeast infection and then I Had a huge cyst under ear appear after taking antibiotic for sore throat, which opened to reveal millions of black and white hairs, white gelatin, black and white spots. Stained and sampled under microscope at 400x, looked awfully like Microsporum. Taking Grispeg now for two weeks plus topical concoction of miconazole/tea tree oil with some improvement overall, but cyst not healing well. Several new gelatinous follicles still appearing. Insomnia is terrible. Husband is a doctor, "humors" me with some treatments since my insurance has dropped me, but things are strained and I don't want him to get in trouble. I am miserable. Oh, and I have no appetite but haven't lost weight...guess all my calories are from beverages. Had to take steroids 5x too for athritis like symptoms, but that's showed improvement. Those are the highlights.

The souls of my feet have been breaking out in blisters for over 2 years now. If I squeeze them very firmly, a long small diameter white string-like brittle fibre will emerge from deep within the blister. I also have these fibres in my lips. They really hurt and cause my lips to blister. They are like cactus thorns in my lips! Mystery wounds occur all over my body, and they clearly exude sliver-like fibres. These take forever to heal. These also come out of my fingers and toes. Sometimes, they come out of my nose, ears, eyes, and chin. I constantly have a headache, heartburn, and what I think are intestinal blockages.

My symptoms are too numerous and bizarre to mention. All I know is that I feel like the walking plague. By the way, I also have a bastocystis hominis infection that I can not get rid of. I beleive that this condition is killing me. Please contact me to learn more. I would love to be able to talk to someone about this condition. I can't see why doctors think this is in peoples's heads, do they not have microscopes anymore? I tell you, I am more than ready to see a psychiatrist now, because this ailment is driving me crazy!

Itching, stinging, biting and crawling sensations. Headaches, joint pain, skin lesions, losing hair, thick course wirey dark hair growing all over body, high pitched ringing in my ears, objects on skin in eyes, ears and mouth, body temperature below normal, brain fog, difficulty speaking in complete sentences, forgetting words, names, dates, short terms memory loss, tooth decay, hyper sensative to light and sound, chemical sensitivity (smell), sense of smell is inaccurate, can't sense of touch (hot and cold), chronic fatigue, cold spots on body (stomach and knees).

Mass in back of throat that can't be cleared, feet and legs swelling, lesions all over scalp, open sores that are slow to heal or not at all, internal organs hurt, urine is yellow or dark with strong oder, nurses have very hard time taking blood for lab work, dark red marks on lower legs and ankles that feels like they are deeply bruised and sometimes feel burning sensation, depressed and sad most of the time, loss of ability to perform simple tasks, loss of interest in things I once enjoyed, muscle spasms and severe cramps in arms, back, feet, legs and hands and legs.

Blurred vision and pain in eyes, pain in sinuses and forehead, sharp stabbing pains in head, shortness of breath, chest pains, dry mouth, pins and needles in tips of fingers, sweating heavly especially after shower or bath, constant indigestion, burping. pH level is very high (acidic). My doctor (infectious disease) and dermatologist of 18 years refuse to acknowledge I have Morgellons. HIV doctor diagnosed it as Staph infection and prescribed Leviquin. Dermatologist disagreed and diagnosed as Nodularis Polaris and prescribed two topical creams.

I have symptoms of crawling, twitching, biting, severe sking sensitivity, movements under skin, vibrations or surges of pulsing sensations, insomnia, can handle heat yet am cold a lot, have body heat flashes often with severe prictly sensations, panic attacks (heart racing/palpitations) sometimes and with fear and a whole array of other health problems since 1989. These symptoms come and go, stop, only to come back min. hours or days later (lasting for min. or hours off an on). Alos occur mostly when sitting down or laying down and laying down at bedtime and can last up to 1 to 3 hours. I have no help and doctors will not work with me as they think this is delusional. I am wearing down from these symptoms which have become more frequent.

Never heard of this untill it happened to me two weeks ago. It was a horrible few days in which a waged a war to get rid of these things. They came out from under nails inbetween my fingers they would make small cuts and come out from under my skin. It Was such a surreal experience my mind could not process what was happenig. We live on ten acres woods of NJ near Delaware Water Gap. We are about as remote as one can get and still be in NJ. Behind our property is a thousand acres of Worthington State Forest. Anyway, my point is that I have lived in the same area my entire life and yet living in the woods now is like living on a different planet. I could go on about what I suspect to be a bird mite, or mold mite, or even rat mite infestation -- all of which are entirely possible and maybe even probable given our setting -- but suffice it to say in my search I have found some very interesting albeit frightening parallels with Morgellon's -- not the least of which are what appear to be fibrous organisms under microscopic inspection.

I should back up to say that on and off all winter I had felt pin-prick bites but the feeling, along with pronounced bite marks, and rash escalated with the warm and humid weather recently. A visit to the dermatologist and a steroid cream got rid of the rash, and he did do a biopsy of a bite mark to get a read on what I'm reacting to, but those results are not back yet. In the meantime, I bought an ionizer for my bedroom, which has given me a lot of relief in that room. It is one of three main rooms that I felt the itchiest -- including main bathroom and laundry/utility roo! m. I find it significant that none of those three rooms get direct sunlight. Also -- there are a myriad of symptoms I've had over the years that match up with Lymes/Morgellons but in all sincerity I think I have just gotten used to this state of being as a way of life.

I definitely feel I am absorbing and emanating an unusual degree of static electricity or magnetism. We do not have carpeting in my house or at my job, but if we did, I know I could generate some sparks! Did I mention under microscope, those tiny "bugs" I got out of my laundry basket look like many of your pictures? The fibers and the crystal formations are there. Even one red fiber. And I haven't looked in a microscope since college bio -- but I "think" I see cell walls on some of the filaments, or fibers. God bless

I have long hair Morgellons fiber disease or syndrome along with three sisters, two brother-in-laws. The other two spouses showed signs of having or getting but their system fought them off and or the Morgellons didn't like. We fought and went through a great deal with the medical system before my oldest sister found and went to a Dr. who diagnoses and treats Morgellons. Our other doctors did then have to follow suit. I fought hard at OHSU, OR to get them away from the mental in spite of many physical samples to finally get the same diagnoses as my sister. There is a lot to tell and a lot of unknown that could be answered through our cases.

My one sister and husband picked up when in Florida out of a apt. that they rented that black specks in it. Some of these questions were hard to answer as there is not a yes or no answer. My pets (cats and dog) do not have as far as I can tell, though two of my cats look a bit skinny. I have many samples and also with God's help and being a good lab rat, have hit on treatment that seems to be beating the Morgellons in spite of having it through out my entire body and all factors. Please not also that I had low pituary function (on cortisol) and leukemia plus low thyroid prior to catching the Morgellons. It is probably why I have it so bad and make a good lab rat. :) I would be glad to help as sure my doctors and sisters would as well. God Bless You!

About 1997 I had a shower in India and sudden terrible stinging on scalp and shoulders then many Lyme and hormonal symptoms. Body pain, hormone, skin color, hair loss. Also in August 2010 I walked out of my house and felt as if someone shot me with electric needles. After that day my house and body became infested and many scary things happened so I think there were 2 times involved. I know 5 people that work for the airline that have Morgellons. I think we are being used for biological testing after hundreds of hours of research.

I had severe bilateral radicular back pain for 3 years that I tried to treat with accupunture, massage, exercise & non-surgical treatment radiographic injected steroids along L5S1 with no results. Back pain became progressively worse with bilateral neurpathy along L5-S1 down to my bit toes. MRI showed spondylothesis & I had major surgery in 2005; a bilateral anterior posterior lumbar fusion L5-S1 which was a success. I had a second surgery a year later for severed secondary dysmenorrhea(laparoscopic uterine hysterectomy) & pathology showed severed adenomyesis. Both surgeries were successful but then in 2006 I developed major depression & was hospitalized for suicide attempt. I moved to the country & rented a house built in 2006 with a stick-on-dirt foundation both crawlspace and attic without vents.

A year later noticed red, violet, black, green, off-white molds and mildew, a wood-boring powderpost beetle, case-making and webbing clothes moth larvae, varied carpet beetle, larva, fungus gnats, wood-decay fungi, and wood-staining fungi. I have not been able to eradicate the infestations and transfered them to the storage unit I rented & to my boyfriend's house, my ex-roomates house. I now have headlice again & feel sharp random sting-like pricks along the seams of my clothing, fleshy 1mm elongated matter with a round prominence at one end on my person; usually an area that has itched or tickled. Headlice is back & not going away. My cats have itchy faces exam of their fur shows nit-like things and honey-colored objects on the fur. Also I have gained about 30 pounds in 3 months. Depression is worse. I lost my job and am virtually homeless. Also my sister has the same things going on and she lives 2.5 hours away. House inspection showed a relative indoor humidity of 70% crawlspace shows pp beetles, fungi, wood-decay, wood-staining, attic shows everything except pp beetles. Both areas had no vents. House mold showed Cladosporium, Pencillium, Aspergillus, Basidiomycosis.

Dear Marc, please help me, I just don`t know how to cope any longer with this miserable life? This disease has killed everything I loved. My husband left me with my kids, my mom won`t call me anymore, and all my friends thinks I`m just crazy. Although I was diagnosted with Lyme by western blot test, but my physician won`t treat me any longer (was just 10 days on doxy). He said the insurance will sue him if he treats me longer than that?? I was a nurse and now I`m on disability and i live in a very small trailer, no shower, suffering every day from itch and fibers coming out constantly. What happend to this world that it turned so evil, greedy and careless? Please help me if you can, i just want to kill myself. I lost hope...I had such a good life before and now I live in hell. I suspect we have a bird mite infestation and yet I am the only one being bitten. (Light brown in color.). Please help me locate a doctor in Sf Bay area that treats this affliction. I am desperate, and getting sicker. kaiser has been no help. I know that my blood and lymph glands are infected because I bleed globs of sticky goo with things in it. I have open sores all over my arms and my hair is falling out. I used to be an active sports enthusiast, ran 2 miles per day. I'm suffering in all aspects of my life, now and can barely work part time, I can no longer teach in a classroom. When I was 30 yrs old I had breast cancer stage 2 and 6 months of chemo. So now i have lymphodema, staph a,non-healing lesions with milky worms, blue, black, white, green strands as tough as wire that tunnel, blk/brn oval shape eggs? black and flouresant objects that can not be crushed, bug/creatures, lg/sm tadpole like larvee, white noduals, insect w/blue body/wings 2 times. These lesions, parisites are coming out of every opening accept my ears, and are also eating my teeth, my tongue and lips have channels and tunnels and never seem to heal, becoming more farsited and cannot focus visually or mentally, i am extremly depressed, very short tempered, heart palputations and chest pains, high blood pressure and the last perscription created more lesions.

So i suppose i will pass away long before our sick government does anything to provide some kind of relief or cure for these terrible diseases they have created and recreated. i was told that it took some 30yrs before they did anything to help aids victims.
Perhaps if someone had a rocket launcher they could blowup one or more of those planes that spray chemtrails (morgellons and viruses) on us everyday around the world. I wonder what kind of pilots fly those planes and exactly who is it that would give an order to spray poisons on us that also contributes to the so called globel warming that will also eventually kill us anyway. I am a recluse now. I fear giving this plague to anyone. I have a very complicated medical history in which I was sent to psychiatrists, psychologists etc. This went on for 33 years. Finally I diagnosed my own condition and was found to have 4 bad parathyroid glands. I have had osteoporosis since I was 30 at which time I had 2 or 3 compression fractures. The doctors here did not do much except send me to mental health persons.

My pancreas was full of embedded stones for which I had 26 stone removals( in another city the other side of my state, where the doctors treat me with dignity), then my chronically failing kidneys were found to be 'packed' with stones, calcium and in 2010 I had a 'whipple procedure and they removed many things and reduced my pain by 1/3 to 1/2 the longstanding torturous pain. Then I contracted what I thought was lice and treated myself on Dec17, of 2011. It did not go away so I was told to go to my clinics minor emergency, my records are marked in a
detrimental way, I think due to doctors here not wanting to be held accountable .

The 'dr' I saw did not help told me I looked OCD. and then IT got worse. I don't think they are going to help me. I recently got a referal to a dermatologist. I have been told not to go. They'll just label me crazy and it's much less expensive for me to just tell myself I am 'nuts' then to get poor treatment from them and build THEIR pharmeceutical stock. Recently, I thought maybe I should take the pesticide I began using on my home and clothing. NOT happening! Jehovah is my God. I go when he says, not when the bug plague does. I have soaked in salt water, which helps.

I have used the lice treatments about 5 times in 3 months. I have used tea tree oil, helped a little but the worst is the bugs in my food and fridge. many thing gets coated with a white fungus of some sort, too a multiplicity of tiny bugs on canned goods as well refrigerated foods. If I leave a dish in the sink it becomes coated with
some funky stuff. I have been SO sick and pray to die, but, I just keep moving one foot in front of the other. I cry much more and I am very muddy in my thought process, I begin shaking and shivering and cannot focus. I feel so very ill. I am at my wits end. First noticed fuzz in my eyelashes when applying mascara, then rash appeared on my left arm and chest, started feeling crawling, biting, stinging sensations. Family and friends told me that I was suffering the effects of excessive stress and that it was all in my head. I tried to ignore but then the worms came and I couldn't handle it. Went to ER and was told that I was a drug addict with delusional parasitis and hypersensitivity without even an exam.

My mother believed the doctor and now I have lost my family as well as my job, apartment, car, personal belongings, boyfriend, and friends. White dots and strings coming from skin. Puffy face with white matter that comes out if bumped or scraped. Black specs and very very tiny flies coming from skin. I was gardening in July and took my gloves off to dig in the soil. I got slivers in my figures from the roots. They were very fine and I could not see them to pull out with tweezers. I could feel them with my teeth and pull a lot out. There seemed to be hundreds of them. I week later my lip started to swell. I could pull these fine strands out with my teeth and sometimes there were these big pieces with fine fibres at the end. I had to pull the big ones out the right way or I would rip my lips. There seem to be hundreds in my lips. Now they have worked their way down to my bottom lip. The run into my cheeks. They are getting longer and more. It just doesn't end.

I feel absolutely INSANE! Skin is crawling all the time, my scalp is peeling and hair falling out. I feel like my hair on my head is biting my face and body. Feet are numb from not sure why..possible infection on toes? I have become so consumed that I cannot stop picking at the sores. I feel like there are bugs in my ears and all over entire body. I see long whitish-reddish fine hairs on face and arms. When I pluck them, it feels like they just jump to a new spot due to the biting sensation. I have been to 2 dermotologists and both did biopsy to no avail. This is so creepy but here gos. Wlle the toes, frequent bladder infections. Feelings of mu hair being full og static electrity. swollon legs with things that look like scratches but I didn't scratch.Bugs in my ears, I wear egg plugs. when I blow my nose after sleep, out comes these horrid bugs, with blood.In the motning, I brush and give a little cough, and give a little cough and blood come up with eggs of all colors and shapes, and the have tiny little legs. My husband keps their cages clean -he is very care about clean cages enough clean being clean and the water dishes are clean, and the correect food and freah water-also hand washing. Many excoriations...mainly r arm and l leg. Many are deep with raised ridge on outside. Some discoloration present in most lesions I can only describe as a bluish almost bruise like color. Prior to outbreak felt my skin crawling and what felt like bites or sometimes static electric impulses. Incredible fatigue and lack of focus. Skin itch on rare occasion and burning sensation almost constant. The burning I would describe as burning from the inside out.

Strange I know...but best way I can think to explain. I have extracted white like fibers and black dots which seem to come from beneath the outer raised area. I have never seen any extractions move or appear to be alive. Numbness and tingling of arms and legs happen occasionally usually left leg. Muscle cramps have also been a problem..most affected area I would say is l foot and sometimes the calf as well. Cramps can be so intense leaving me unable to drive or walk for a brief period.

(1.5 years ago) Now I am in San Diego and miniscule bugs are attacking me and driving themselves right into my skin. Several bugs you cannot eed at once in 2 places. Scary and insane. My rabbit got super sick and has head tilt this problem is rampant here with pet rabbits. It never used to occur and the vet said it is happening alot here in San Diego. Also the fleas, ticks and mites are now so resiliant that regular topical products used on pets are no longer working. I also have always had phenomenal health but this crap they put in chemtrails destroys the adrenal system. That is abnormal for me, I am sure it is the barium, alumium etc. How can I heal this? the hormone and so forth were worthless. I started having red bumps like tiny goose pimples appear in patches on the tops of my hand, sholders, and all over my back. It was itchy and like goose pimples had a crawly tingly sensation. After scrating the area burst into several spead out sores that hurt and itch. I got a cream to stop the itching and I no longer scratched it. When the hydrocortisone cream was applied I saw a lot of tiny black specs appear on the sores and sourounding unbroken skin. Every day I applied to steroid cream the black specs like black sand appeared. Steroid cream thins the skin a lot and allowed the black specs to break though. After a few months my chest was covered in sores. My shoulders and entire back is now covered.

Nothing appears below the waiste and does not affect my legs. Recently I now have them appearing on the back of my neck and also on my head. I have a friend that does DNA lab testing for bacteria, viruses, and parasites. His test was positive from a skin sample that the sores were positive for bacteria that is highly resistant to anti-boitics and also positive for an unknown parasite. Trying to help me to figure this out he tested how the parasite reacted to certain things. Sugar and alchohol seemed to make it thrive. I started my own therapy. About a week ago I started using Collodial Silver 500ppm with 3 tablespoons a day. At the same time I started an antibiotic called SULFAMETHOXAZOLE-TMP DS TABITP (BACTRIM) which is known for killing hard to kill bacterial and certain parasites. To be safe not sorry I also started to take a regular dose of anti-parasitic medication bought online in herbal form. After a week of this my sores are healing and I they are hardly visible any more.

The black specs dont appear now. However, I MUST tell you that on the 5th day of the treatments I felt a wiggly itchy feeling in my nose and dead rice looking worms fell out. Looked like a cooked grain of rich not small and uncooked but regular rice but they color of the critters were light brown/amber in color and barely see through.
Under light and a magnify glass I could see they had an outer shell that was rubbery and scally with round rings from head to toe spaced appart evenly. Inside the rice worm was was looked like intestine. Interesting the intestine looked like a black fiber and also a bunch of black sand like specs could be seen inside it. It also had white silk like thread that grew on its skin. After this for the next few days I woke up in the morning to fund very tiny egg shaped things that were white like a cotton ball but very tine and soft but not squichy appear all over the infected areas of my skin. I dont know if it was eggs or larve.

My opinion is they dont like contaminated food. The silver nano size particles in the blood must be poinsoness to them and they cant digest it or they dont eat blood that is clean or taste bad from collodial silver. The antibiotics helped with the unhealing sores since my skin no doubt was bacteria in it from scratching. The antiparasite mendication probably helped kill the larvea or just helped in general in conjunction with the collodial silver. Also, the antibiotics I took is known to kill hard to kill bacteria and is also prescribed for anti-parasite which is a two in one medication. Now it's been a week and I feel healthier. I have so much energy that I could not sleep for almost two days. Before I was tires all the time and could not get enough sleep. My mood is better and I feel happier and its nice to see this problem healing for once. My head feels less fuzzy and the pain in my joins such as my elbow and hands are improved. I suffer from lesions on my legs and arms and breasts as does my bf. my bf is getting worse and im not.our personality has changed dramatically. I have become angry and suicidal. I dont trust anyone. i think my bf is hiding things from me all the time to the point where i become physically violent with him and he has with me as well. We both have memory problems. he has eye sight problems that are progressing.we both suffer from itching continuoslly all day and night. I have fibers, plastic-like hairs, brain fog, itching, biting, crawling bugs on skin, I can pick them off my skin, sleepless nights, skin feel dirty even though I bathe until skin is red....when I get out I wipe and there's still dirt...gees, they are in my hair, scalp, ears, face, eyebrows, lips, neck...they are in my rectum and vag. Well Im not me anymore. I have to live my life in cycles, just when I think Im better and maybe im not that bad. It starst again. Main illnesses incude: itching, creepy crawly feeling on my legs (mainly from the knee down), crawling in my eyes and nose and mouth, skin around toenails seems "old", bright white bubbly spit, sensitive teeth, 3 or 4 known lesions on my legs, little fiber like worms under the skin on my arms and legs, shortness of breath and a feeling of suffocation (more apparent at night), numb arms (mainly the right arm), and little white cotton like dots found all over my body. Im concerned. i went to the doctor and practically had to tell her what I was experiencing and what I wanted tested. It took a while but her only conclusion was a fungal virus. I need help. How do I do this? Is this disease debilitating and how do I know how long I've been harboring the parasites?

I lived in this old run down house wher there was copper piping leaking, mold in all the rooms. hot water tank didnt run constantly. i had to turn it on everytime to have a shower and then turn it off so it would sit stagnant for however long till someone would need to shower or do dishes. I got so depressed and crazy like, my bf thought i was losing my mind. I hated the world and everyone in it. my bf and i also got really painful sharp little prick like feeling in our knees when we knelt down on the carpet. it hurt so bad that i would cry. This is soo crazy. Im in tears right now cause I had got it first then my bf and now he still has it and its getting worse. We have both been on antibiotics but my bf got too sick off of his so he stopped and i am bad for not going through with antibiotics. i know it isnt a good thing but really i dont think it was helping. we have tried every type of body wash out there and cleaning disinfectant for our skin and nothing is working.

It helps for a bit but it gets worse again. I mean this is affecting our every day life. people think we are drug addicts and we arent. its embaressing and sickens me so much to think i have bugs crawling under my skin. I suffer from lesions on my legs and arms and breasts as does my bf. my bf is getting worse and im not.our personality has changed dramatically. I have become angry and suicidal. I contracted lyme's disease in 1999 which turned into chronic fatigue then morgellons symptoms appeared in 2007 with an outbreak of sores, etc. I gave birth to a child with downs syndrome in 2001. I used to be a very energetic, positive outgoing person. Now I find that I have become a recluse, and yes, melancholy. In addition, in the past year I gained 50lbs, which I have been successful at losing 25, although I am on a extremely low calorie diet. When I found that I had put on that much, I added a natural thyroid supplement. I no longer seek "professional" medical attention partially due to my financial situation, but mostly because I have no interest in subjecting myself to MORE abuse. Also, please be advised when I was answering the questions, It was difficult to answer some of them for there was life BEFORE lymes disease, then AFTER lymes disease. I have become a different person due to the horror of the last ten years.

Well, i had several theory's that i wanted to get with the CDC on but after anwering these questions, those were shot right out of the water. was i abused yes, very badly (all of it) This disease, syndrom or whatever it may be is driving me to the point of insainity. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and all that goes with it, in 2003 but am positive that I do indeed have "Morgellons". I also agree that this dreadful disease came from the United States. This is why we aren't getting anywhere with diagnosis or treatment here. The government is trying to cover this up but with more and more people getting "Morgellons", this can't be hidden forever. I have no life any more. I spent my savings on doctors that would not treat me, they treated me like I was crazy. I have lost all my friends and I stay away from my son in fear that I will give him this nightmare disease. I cant work. I lost my house and I know that this will kill me. I think I have Morgellons. I thought I had scabies, but now I am not so sure. Your pictures are eerily similar to my sypmtoms. Although, because I have only had it for a short time, I don't have as many & they are not as big. I even have a spot on my eye with lines just like your picture. I have recently developed headaches and fatigue as well.

I was first diagnosed as having shingles foue years ago but since then I have had 4 more outbreaks and horrific scaring on my hands, arms, feet, and legs. I also suffer with chronic fatigue and very painful joints to the point when I cannot work any more in the last year. I have operations on my knees. I find I need to nap in the middle of the day something I have never had to do in my life. I don't like to go out during an out break of lesions with the open soars and the horrific scaring I hate that people ask what the soars are on my hands and arms and I cant answer them. it is so embarrassing. I can not get a doctor in Ireland who knows anything or had heard the name Morgellons. I am so alone my husband is not very supportive he says just to sleep and it will stop the itching.

Some of your questions, I don't know the answer - difficulty staying focused, have been extremely depressed from time-to-time, taking Cymbalta, Provigil, bunch of other stuff. Went to several doctors - after I turned 65, Medicare plus qualified for Mediaide - none of them told me I was nuts (if they had, I would've been), but none were helpful either. My legs were covered in scabie-like nasty, nasty sores, wouldn't heal, feet, nails rotting, few sores on arms. I tried a home remedy that alledgely cleared woman of recluse spider bites couple of times. Cleaned with peroxide, removed scab, doused with bleach. Bled a lot, could see clusters of little white balls, like mini-bb's - had medical tweezers but could not dig them loose. And the treatment was totally ineffective.

Ok, I've needed to report this to someone (but no one's been interested) - thankful to find you, whoever you are, don't even know, but one of the rare good guys obviously. And I ramble, loose direction, etc - Never leave here except for doctor or grocery store, once a month. When I was doing the home remedy, not a clue what was dealing with, during summer, mid-afternoon, two days in a row, let my dog out; very hot, both times he wasn't out longer than 5-8 minutes, both times he came in with a wound, for lack of better description, back of neck. First time, cleaned it up without much attention, next day was mad, he had similar gash, same area, something got him again. That day the exterminator was here and asked him what kind of insect etc. Said wasn't any kind of bug bite. Not a bug? then what? And while cleaning saw same white balls as mine. What could that mean?

Anyhow, by now I'd been to maybe 4 drs., all giving me itch cream, told them DID NOT ITCH, but they knew of course it did. And I ultimately did diagnois myself as, after relentless research, lucked upon Mayo Clinic. And every single symptom I had was listed under Morgellons. Was advised to go to Southwestern Medical, for the unknown etc. More itch cream, do not touch them, riles them up; my legs I could keep covered, so followed advice, and they did sorta clear up. Prior to this,any nick, scratch, cut, would become another scabie-looking sore. And the clearing of the biggest % of legs was no real victory; the stuff just moved, different dress. And is now all over, top of head, bottom of feet. Asked primary care, asked podiatrist, please please please...but they don't know how...NO ONE KNOWS HOW, please try any thing, I'm being totally consumed...no.

Podiatrist took x-ray of right foot - never seen such, like a bite out of the bottom of my heel bone; next trip some guy with wand up & down legs, did test; elephant ankles, hugh rotting Bozo-looking feet not caused by feet, sent me to neurologist, who did another type test with wand. For my age was in excellent condition, no nerve damage.
Thyroid test showed heart fine, liver fine, kidneys not, Dr. sent me to nephrologist. More tests; no blood clots, kidneys a bit small, but fine. One more test on the 10th. BUT this gal, Dr. asked to see leg sores, wrote script for Clindamycin, which had been effective initially, but now regressing.

And I have to KNOW, through God, I'll beat this - if I gave up, I'd check out. I'm a freak, have no life, why endure...
And lots more need to tell about why I think I'm so eaten with this foul nasty devil-work, but outta gas for now and likely, you're ready for this missive to end. Several open lesions that will not heal. Fibers growing out of skin (Black, silver, white and some with dark purplish sheen, Headaches, lots of mucus discharge from both nasal and throat. Urinary tract infections common, along with a cycle of Yeast, asthma, high allergy count on blood test, swollen lymph nodes after dental cleanings, salivary gland was blocked, swollen joints-ruled out rheumatoid arthritis, lymes, lupus, diabetes, aids,many doctors & specialists, current doctor refused to help improve immune system, due to "the way health works, will not cover," was told to get alternative care. Wil send fiber samples out but will not know how to treat mold illness and will not be able to directly test for it. So I never tested fibers- clear gel from cuticles and any cut, black specks in back feet and hands, red & blue & clear fibers, clear small worm shaped and crab shaped matter from skin also had the cricket looking head on long thin body with fiber looking wrapped eyes. fibers come out in eye wash, cough up black specks stuck together in long chain in clear saliva all seems to follow cycles in month. wake up during night with a metallic taste in mouth then violent chills, & night sweats. Moved from mold infested apt.
I would like to find a doctor to treat me that will improve my immune system and not just the symptoms with cipro and other immune suppressing antibiotics and hopefully accept insurance. Oct/Nov 09 My hair really started falling out accompanied by wicked itching and then a pimply rash on the back of my right arm. I grew up with bad eczema, horrable canker sores, nose bleeds and mirgaines. And for that matter, depression/anxiety, constant ringing in my ears and vertigo. But seriously this is getting flippen rediculous!! I am becoming a freek show on wheels. My hair is alive, its being replaced bythick dark black things that "wadd up' and seemingly strangle the normal hair which is now staw. Not to mention the black specs all over my scalp aand the crust. I've tried all kinds of dandruff shampoos, a teatree oil shampoo helps with the incesent itching for a short while. On to the funky fibers..I plucked a neo n blue "hair" about 5 in long from my head here recently. Mostly so far Ive shiny white or irrodecent fibersthat look beadedcomimg from my hair and the ongoing rash . The niebors have actually spred rumors that I am on crak.. this stuff should be called
"psudoCrakheads" disease. But the sad thing is since I recently lost my job because of the fact I have so much foggy brain I can bairly afford toilet paper.

1. Skin lesions that wont heal. (this isn`t my worst problem) they have the sensations of something moving in or around the lesion site. there is also itching, stinging and burning at the lesion site

2. Mental confusion and memory loss (this has progressed fast and is very upsetting)a lot of times I cant get the words I'm thinking from my brain out of my mouth. my memory has gotten so bad that if I get interrupted in mid sentence I don?t even remember what i am talking about. i can hardly carry on a conversation anymore.

3. Eyesight. since last may my eyesight has gone from better than excellent to, i cant even read the paper in front of me. i also feel things moving in my eyes( i am NOT crazy as many doctors have told me. the other night i pulled a red fiber about 6 inches long out from the side of my nose and i felt it come out of my eye.

4. Depression. i feel hopeless and i have even considered ending it all it get away from this constant suffering i feel at every moment of my life.

5.Equilibrium (balance). i get dizzy a lot and when im walking i often get off balance. such as walking into walls or accidently hitting things. i used to have excellent balance before.

6. Headaches. terrible headaches mainly between my eyes, under lesion, under my eyes, and my eyebrows. Tylenol doesn?t work, even morphine doesn?t work.

7. Fatigue. i am tiered all the time but lately i have a hard time sleeping.

8. Swelling in my legs. very recently(2 weeks starting 1/17/09), i have had horrible swelling in my legs and feet. the doctor put me on water pills.

9. Pain/tingly numbness in extremities. they often fall asleep i feel this could possibly from lack of circulation the pain runs up my arms.

10. Breathing. my breathing feels labored when im moving around. this has started in the last two months.

11. Heart. this may sound crazy, and i assure you i am not, but i can feel the parasites in my heart. its hard to put into words, but there is something going on with my heart.

12. Weight loss. i have not tried to loose weight, yet i have shed off 45 or more pounds since may of 2009 with out dieting or exercising.

13. Bowel sounds. When i am pulling a fiber/parasites from my skin(from a lesion) my bowels/ intestines/stomach makes all kinds of sounds, loud sounds.

14. Blood. my blood is abnormally thick and comes out in big clots. yet it will only bleed when i get the parasites/fibers out from my skin. it is also abnormally dark in color.

15.Swelling of glands. I have swelling in my throat. also i take thyroid medication. 200mcg

16. New lesions. i have new soars and tenderness on the back of my head, in my hair and on my hairline.

I have been turned away/laughed at by many doctors. all kinds of doctors, this includes dermatologist, general practitioner, chronic pain doctors. i have been to psychiatrist and taken the medicine they have prescribed with absolutely no relief. i need relief. i am completely at my wits end and have no other options. i have spent hours on the computer researching this disease. i have multiple samples of my skin and the parasite/fiber that i have pulled from my skin. i have gotten blood test. i am willing to send you any samples you need and willing to be a subject for your research. any way i can help to get relief from this constant pain. I got so sick of trying to figure this out I bought a kids microscope and what I saw made me cry. Your microscopic photos - my issue looks exactly like page 1 - second set of photos down. I was stunned. I saw one that had two grain like things each with a fiber growing out of it - and the fibers connected! I'm so grossed out (and scarred) I'm at a loss. How do I get my doctor to test me? He flatly refuses and when I got upset and took my pants down to show him the backs of my legs/rear end, he took a fast step back and wouldn't touch me or allow tests.

He called in another doctor and together they tried to convince me it was "folliclitis." I left with a prescription for anti-fungal cream (Fucidin) and Novo-Doxylin (Doxycycline Hyclate)100mg - to take twice daily for one month. The pills make me physically ill (and taste like gasoline so I stopped taking them) but the cream does work temporarily. Any suggestions? I haven't been back because the doctors here are useless.

A 10 year old boy brought a wild rabbit into my house without me knowing.It started with feeling like something was biting my lower legs. I thought we had fleas but the dogs were not bothered. Then it was like jock itch and I got anti fungals but that did not help. Then I bought unsterilized potting soil and found out that my boyfriend had morgellons in his hair and on his feet because I found a comb with two morgellons organisms on it that were his but at that time I did not know what it was. 4 months later I got bit by large medium brownish red gnat and they started hatching out of my hair,

then black beetles started hatching out of my hair and now I have small black specks and tiny spider or crab like bugs and tiny white mites that look like a tiny grain of rice with a black spot in the middle. I have been fasting and eating low sugar/low carb diet and drinking lots of water. I am taking 45 min to 1 hour salt baths that are relaxing and cleansing and I am about 90% better now after over a year of torment. This is HORRIBLE. ..like hell on earth. I would not wish this on my worst enemy.

This started with casual contact at the doorway of a friend who passed it on to 8 people in our meditation group I had mites swarming in the house, walls and then in me. My little dog died sudenly after loosing several teeth despite being boarded ou an having the best vet care. I had clear fibers growing out of my palms from the beginning.

Red fibers sticking out of the clock radio...lamp destroyed...ficks off and on...big "antennae"(black 1 and 1/2 inches positioned on the skylinght outside my bedroom window. Any nick or scratch gets infested with mites which burrow in ...sores take 3 plus weeks to heal...with lots of disinfecting. Up from 10 pm until 4 am cleaning. My life is totalled. Lost job, roommates, house, and many posessions...

They are all infected or infested with bright coloured bacteria..irridescent green, red, gold, silver, and crawling mites and "dust balls or lint" which had hairs growning out of it. Life is hell as all I do is clean and treat my skin...and it has taken all my money. I now know a lot more about cleaning supplies. i've lost 20 lb and I was slim to begin with. I've just moved and it's hard to get the energy to unpack...and get bitten...but they are molting..these white sticky spots...so i'm pretty freeked out as they are fast. I'm afraid a cave in India might be the only answer. Help

Post hurricane Katrina we relocated to Baton Rouge, La from Slidell after 7 mths first lesion on breast and then leg, nasal, arms (main area) and now face, ears--I see the fibers and see mutant looking parasites...a vet looked at them and said it was like the head of one parasite and body of another--with a low 4 x magnifer I can see lots of them grab hold of each other or objects with legs--like they are holding on...

I have seen bazaar things in these little critters. I am at a lost of where to turn. I went to a psych doc and he believes there is something--as he has had many patients with exact complaints and descriptions. I had brain surgery in 1999-the thigh muscle from a cadeveor was used...which makes me wonder if collembola was indroduced to my body then--collembola is definately one of the critters. Horrific acne since 16 years of age. Resistant to most antibiotics etc. Accutane was only a temporary solution. When my thyroid stopped working I started using heavy moisturizers (ointment like) which I never used before because of acne, but at that time my skin got really dried out. That's when I noticed black stuff all over my face. My face, for as long as I can remember would burn and get red and irritated when I would sweat. I chalked off the black stuff to dust or particles in the air...I mean they COULDN'T have come out of my skin!

It wasn't until recently looking for a natural cure for acne after being told I need accutane again, that I read about Demodex and how tea tree oil can help. What came out of my skin wasn't demodex, but what I believe to be collembola and fibers, black dots, red dots and brown dots and weird structures. I was horrified. The acne that would never heal is clearing up with the remedies I am using, but I think it is only helping the sores, not the stuff coming out of my skin...or under the skin. I also notice I have stuff coming out of my feet and arms as well...it is worst in my feet though. I am going to get a lyme test at my Dr. but am hesitant to say much more for fear of being deemed crazy.

I take coconut oil and it has helped with fatigue and low body temperature and I also get B vitamin and amino acid shots because I am on a weight loss program to lose the 40 pounds I put on when this all started (in conjunction with thyroid). AN ultrasound also showed a small nodule on my parathyroid, and I read the Study the NPA conducted and it said a few people had thyroid problems and parathyroid cyst (out of 20 people, I wonder how much larger the number would be in a larger study.) I can say that I almost understand why people would be deemed crazy, because I feel like a crazy person since this whole thing came to my attention...I am alwasys examining things under a microscope, soaking my feet and body, I am obsessed with vaccuming now, inspect my son regularly for ! black sp ecks and have put numerous weird things on my skin in an attempt to draw out whatever is going on in there! Anyone who didn't have Morgellon's surely would think I am a nut, but honestly, I just want to end this....

I will not stop until I am cured. With my husband in the military and having to deploy so many times we put family planning on hold and we wanted at least one more child I have now decided that we won't have anymore children. I fear what this would do to a fetus or an infant. I also am incredibly fearful for my son, that he will get it. I have something I bought called an Eyeclops that you can plug into your TV. Its a children's toy microsope and I inspect my face, hands and feet with it and there are always fibers, black spots specks and possibly collembola (something different than the specks but can't get a good enough look), shiny reflective particles etc. under my skin. I also looked at my son's skin, my husband's, my mothers, fathers and brothers and they all have specks and stuff under the skin with the microscope, but. everyone except my mom says it must be normal since we all have it. As I said I exhibit other symptoms and the shedding of fibers, specks etc. itching and biting crawling sensations and my mother does also. The others don't or chalk it off as nothing since there is nothing visible on them to the naked eye.

ANother weird thing I will mention is that I have had eyelash loss...usually in the center of both eyes missing large patches of eyelashes. I ofen find when I soak my feet in cider vinegar and hot water, eyelashes in the water...among the specks and black and brown spots. Some of them I know aren't mine because they are longer and black whereas mine are light in color since I am very fair skinned with light hair. They resemble my son's. I do find mine as well, but find it bizarre that his would be coming out of my skin as well, so I fear he has it too. I had purchased copper peptide serum .to use on my acne scars and notice that when I use it a few light blue fuzz balls come out of my skin. AFter reading what I have wrote, I see now why I don't want to go to a Dr. I sound like a total nutcase! This is such a nightmare!!!

I have been HIV positive for over 25 years and have always been healthy and symptom free without the help of any medications. Even though my immune system is compromised by being HIV+, I believe that having a positive mental attitude and maintaining a stress-free lifestyle has contributed enormously to my success at staying healthy. Beginning about three years ago, my partner of eleven years and I had gone through a very challenging time that put a tremendous amount of stress, depression and anxiety into my life.

It was around this time that I noticed that my skin began to show areas that were abnormal in texture and color, and lesions began to appear on my face, back and chest. I figured that it was due to the stress that I was experiencing in my life at the time, but the lesions continued even though my life conditions were improving. On closer inspection with the use of a magnifying glass and eventually a microscope that I had purchased, I came to the realization that what I was experiencing was due to some sort of parasite. I told my partner, who happens to be a doctor, and even showed him what I had been finding, which he promptly dismissed saying that I needed a "professional" diagnosis.

I went to several doctors who all said that my lesions were due to my picking at them and that I was suffering from "paraphycosis". The last three years has been living hell affecting every aspect of my life. My relationships with my family, friends and partner have suffered immensely due to my condition. I lost my job after fourteen years and began to question my own sanity. I had become socially recluse embarrassed by my appearance and have had to "secretively" had my search to find answers through publications on the web. One day, I decided to browse images of skin parasites on google and to my shock found an image of a parasite that matched identically to what I had been seeing under a microscope.

With further research, I was led the a Morgellons website and found that all the symptoms of the diseas! e that o thers had been experiencing, I too have been experiencing. I promptly shared this with my partner and mother, who had been very concerned about my mental state of mind and ready to do an intervention. After reading testimonials and doing extensive research on her own, she too believes that I have Morgellons disease. I cannot say the same for my partner, who still maintains that the world is flat because the medical community has not officially recognized the disease. I've documented several different "parasites" and their cycles.

They range from microscopic glue/grey specs (eggs) attached to a silk-like thread, very much like a spider web, to full maturity bug that resembles a small beetle with atenna. NOTE: It is of my belief that the "Fibers" that I have witnessed and that have been described by others, is NOT a byproduct of the parasite, but actually IS the parasite itself. On several occasions, I have observed a jelly-like blob that I have just removed from my skin quickly transform into a feathery fiber creature, then... desinigrate into almost nothing.

I have also noticed that when I have applied pressure to one of the lumps, a translucent thread of material come out of the lump that actually can been seen moving and twitching, then slowly darken and shrivel and become more fiberous. What is frightening is what took place on two of these occasions... moments after I had extracted some substance from a lump on my chest that ended up in the basin of the sink, a wood ant that happened to be wondering around on the countertop ventured into the sink basin. Immediately, the ant went crazy and frantically began pulling on it's antenna seemingly in an effort to clean them off. Within a few minutes, the ant was dead.

The same thing happened on another occasion, but with a small fly that had landed on top of the counter that I had been standing over and had just extracted some material from a lump. Within minutes, it too was dead. TREATMENT: I've tried many different "treatments" from detox to ointments, etc! . Nutras ilver was the only thing that had an affect, but only temporarily, and only seemed to kill the parasites that I have in my fingertips and bottoms of my feet. It only paralyzed those parasites that I have found in my lesions. Once I stopped taking the Nutra Silver, they became active again, but even more aggressively.

I dont know how to get help. I thougth I was reacting to a problem in my home that intailed my house getting covered in calcuim carbonate and sulfate along with calcite. The house was tested and lab also reported un known substence that apperaed to be nonminerale. Also had fiber glass, adnormal amounts of skin cells and fungal spores. I was very ill and thought the things in my skin was from the house. I have been out of the house almost a year and still sick. my hair is awful and i dont fave feeling in my scalp and most of my body.

My spelling and wrighting skills are gone more or less. I was dignosed with every auto imune diease but then later told i dont have it. My white bloods sell are very high, and my baby sells are 11,000 and normal is 7,000 and my siga is double. I am vit d deficent. I stumbled acroos your site when I was trying to figure out why i was spitting up chrystal in my spit. I have started my vitamin reg back. I did find Monavie acai berry helped when I started to get sick. what does some one like myself do to get help? I also as I can it have a magnetic personality. I stay away from electronics most of the time. I also have a great collection of odd things from my body including some crazy hair. I was prescribed Lindane upon one of my many first diagnosis which stated that I had scabies. My kids were also prescribed this lotion and although I used very little on them... I used more than I should have on myself because I was in panic mode and freaked out by the though of myself and my family having scabies. I later found out just how toxic it is & feel lucky that I didn't do more damage than I did...

I think the Albendazole & Ivermectin worked well for awhile. I also think that Doxycycline helps though I definitely had a major herxemeir (sp.?) reaction after initially taking antibiotics and vommitted violently for the first few weeks. The matter that came up was a horrific sight. It looked like giant worms, but I couldn't mentally handle what I was seeing at that time & flushed it immediately. I haven't had that matter come up since (4 yrs ago).

I have large cysts under skin that seem to grow and shrink... frequent fevers, trouble swallowing, swollen hands-feet-well, basically my entire body including my face (though my face only swells occasionally)... I have frequent naseau, extreme and chronic fatigue, fibromayalgia that keeps me from doing all the things that I once loved to do, my right eyes is sore all the time and has black specs on it-even on the whites of my eyes, I see floaters constantly... they never go away and stay in the same spots (though of course they move accordingly when I look in a different direction)...

I have had my toenails fall off-as has my daughter... stomach pains, constipation or diarhea, extreme muscle twitching, temporary bells palsy (gets better at times), thick string like/worm like mucous in nasal area, tongue fascilations, loss of feeling in my right foot (though it comes back), numbness in hands and feet-especially when sleeping, high level of anxiety, lack of drive though I used to be a type a go-getter... lesions, matter comign out of my skin on a regular basis (I filmed it and put it on youtube if you would like to see it--they are clearly visible as I have MASSIVE amounts that emerge from my skin... dry cracked feet along the sides of my heels an feet VS the bottom like one would expect...

I also have lumps/cyts in my fingers. I have many more but I have to go for now. My youngest just got up and isn't well today. This happens frequently & it breaks my heart beyond words. She also has lesions that don't heal & many other symptoms. One she has that I don't is dialating pupils-was wondering if you've heard anything like that before. Last night My youngest started feeling ill and kept saying, " I don't know what I'm feeling"-"I don't get what's going on right now-I feel confused". She seemed almost frantic and just "out of it". Normally, she is an EXTREMELY & almost eerily intuitive & intelligent young lady. She's in all advance programs and scores in the 98th percentile on all achievement tests.!

She is in the third grade and already reading at ABOVE a 12th grade level... they have spoken to me about moving her up a grade beause of her high IQ. Lastly, she has many visual and auditory hallucinations... seeing "people that aren't suppossed to be there" & hearing thing as well. She KNOWS that what she is experiencing isn't real, but it's terrifying none the less. She also sees alot of shapes (colored shapes she says). Because of these hallucinations she is afraid to even go to the bathroom by herself some times. Again-heart wrenching... Alrigh! THANK YOU for your research. Fibromyalgia, IBS, Reynalds syn, ADAD bad, exhaustion, muscle throbbing, joint pain, worse in humid days or before rain. Involuntary muscle contractions. Have nerve blocks for that and my back. Pain in neck, back, elbows, knees. all over. Large lesions on my face at chin, left eye, and lesion scars on both cheeks, forehead and low chin.

Lesions are circular like the Frenchman's pics. Tentacles like sea coral come out of the lesions all the way around and some in the middle. About 2 mm, Feel them when they come out. Also feel the nymphs when the crawl out. Have them in eyes and corners of mouth. Have ruts in tongue and white bumps that pull off. Obviously some type of parasite. Docs have not even examines my lesions. Want to sue 3 of them. No one has checked for parasites. Just did blood test. Dermatologist told me had morgellons but didn't get close.

Said: Keep cover with duoderm healing and take trifluoperazine 2 mg at night to break the cycle. Said fibers were subcutaneous tissue from scratching and red and blue were the colors of our bodies. He didn't even get hand held scope out or do any biopsy. Can't get anyone to do one on my face. Just want these organisms or animals cut out, they just multiply. Have samples but scared to take them cause of matchbox theory. I plan to buy a m scope. I can see barbs and tentacles with a magnifying glass. Contact me any time if u like. While I was being treated for scabies I noticed that my arm was very fuzzy, then strange puff balls started coming out as well as hairs from my skin. I noticed a few weeks later what looked like SPORES in my toilet. I has just cleaned my toilet but I cleaned it again. Two days later they came back. I took a picture and got samples with a Q-tip. My hair a few weeks ago was all going forward and the hair in back wrapped around my neck. When I combed it back, my hair slowly all came forward again. I looked like I had been caught in a hurrican, but I could not stop it. I few days ago I was petting my cocker spaniel and his long black ear was against my leg.

I felt a bite and looked and a wad of black haid was on my leg. I tried pulling hair from my dogs ear, but nothing came out especially a big wad. The nest day I was taking a shower I looked down and on my leg was another black wad of hair, I thought, but then it started to move and I freaked. It fell into tub and I got a container and saved it. I have many many more things happen, many of which I saved and took pictures but I don't know who to give them to. Can you tell me what to do. I would like them to go to research, because this is the strangest thing ever and I can no longer work. Thank You

In feb. 2007 my sister was in the hospital for about 3 months. as her caretaker i stayed at hospital with her 24/7. after the first month i started getgting these bumps like pimples in scalp. the got bigger, hair fell out. eventually i shaved my head. i went to several doctors who for the first 8 months treated me for ringworm. the dermatologists i went to first diagnosed me with alopecia areata. i went back later with a picture of bug from my scalp under magnification.

The dermatologist said it was bedbugs and treated me for that. but i had been researching myself forf quite a while now and it did'nt look like a bedbug to me. i was convinced i had either norweigan scabies or demodex mites until i did more research into morgellons. i am convinced i have this disease. my symptoms include: bumps on my scalp, itching eyelashes and scalp, weird hiar follicles, black specks in scalp, fatigue, back pain.

At the onset I thought that I had gotten lice at a hotel in Austin, TX. I used every lice product I could find, and was ready to bath in pesticide. I felt like my body from head to toe was covered with bugs. I caught a few of the insects. I also noticed that small black worm like things were coming out of the pores on my arms when I was in the sun. I researched the tiny black worms, and that me to the conclusion that I may have Morgellons.

I had small black dots in my pores that formed a wheel formation. On one of the formations the center of this "wheel" began to sink and ulcerate. When the crawling sensation was unbearable and I developed these lesions on my arms, I went to an urgent care. They told me that I needed to go to the hospital. I do not have insurance, so I went to the University Medical Center. I was mocked by the physician and the nurse, and never examined. I was told that they couldn't see what I was feeling, and eventually I had to leave with a prescription for hydroxadrine. I went home and took benadryl instead. I was researching bird mites, and the advice was to use Arbonne's Foaming Body. I rememberd that I had a sample somewhere in my bathroom, so I figured that I would give it a try.

I literally saw bugs jumping off of me, including adult springtail. I felt so much relief that night. I believe it's because the body wash is PH Correct, and neutralizes the fungus. Of course I got some of the body wash and use it twice a day. When I first put the body wash undiluted on my lesions and my arms, small white busgs were coming out of the wounds. The black worm things were also coming in and out. It was as if they were angry. My friend was watching the entire X-Files experience in my kitchen with shock and disbelief. I am now working with a friend that is a nurse practitioner, who will accompany me to my medical appointments.

Hello, I am going crazy with this Morgellons disease. It's getting worse. It started out with just my thighs and forearms itching and i mean going out of my mind the itch was so bad. It affected me only at night. Now i have it in my hair, ( forehead) and i feel them crawling into my eyebrows, then into my eyes, then they get a gooey sticky film in my eyes, it's horrible!! I just started noticing little red marks on my body everywhere, it's devastating.

I am extremely tired every day, I have no drive or ambition, I am paranoid, and recently became very suspicious of my fioance, it got so bad he wanted me to get out, I'm vicious. I don't know who this chick is but it's someone taking over my body. I have extreme brain fog, and I fall while walking up my stairs. I have to pay attention to each step to avoid falling. I'm so depressed, and i have no emotion, i really don't care about anyone anymore. My entire day is consumed with this disease. I'm constantly holding my flashlight and magnifying glass to get a glimpse of these gross creatures that are crawling inside my entire body.I still can't believe this is happening to me.

Why?? I'm so freaked out. When the itching gets really bad, I found that a hot bath as hot as you can stand it really helps. I actually see them floating in the tub if the water is hot enough. I also have them in my vagina and bottom. Is this going to infect my partner? Is it contageous? I don't have medical insurance, however I am going to fight these parasites because I don't want to go out like this. (die). The most frustrating thing of all is my partner thinks I'm just paranoid and the crawling sensation is nerves. He looks at me like I'm crazy.

I tried to show him the glitter like dots all over my face and he says it's makeup. I get so angry with him. I forgot to mention I'vr been getting alot of headaches and my thigh has been twitching for weeks now, off and on. The most disgusting of it all is i have them in my mouth and I'm getting sores on my gums, I'm constantly s! pitting them out. I'm about to lose my mind, I can't bare anything else. I live in rental, low income, not clean. I think majority of residents have this disease. one even said she had Scabies. Around the washers,and dryers I see some of the same parasites. Look like 2 dots, when they get larger, they look like to lines, These are hidden wings, and they take flight. I no longer do my wash here.

Also have different flies. I have samples if you want. Also Have the snake in salt water, minus a bit of tail. Don't know how long it will keep. I see some look like twigs, and tiny snakes. ON thenmo.com a nurse called Belinda also described mini snakes. I spend my day picking up parasites, put them in boric acid. They resis boing water and bleach for 2 hours.They destroyed 3 fillings, cused gum disease, are in my fridge and freezer. Everthing in so called airtight containers, but still get in. Throw a lot of food away.

Have not slept in a bed for 2 years. Bedroom has worst infestation. Think it came from sheets made in China. ( Which I returned) Last week I reurned shoes to Ross. Wore them with white socks, which were smothered in parasites which I put on scotch tape and showed to manager. I asked for and got a receipt, stating I had bugs in the shoes. Hello, I make decision to writte about my problems.this started in july 08 with something like a flu.Before that in May08 i was vaccinated and in Juny08 i was niped by thick but i didnt see any rash. but in July i was coughing and i have tachykardia. Cardiologist diagnosted dilatation of Aorta bulbus and he prescribed the beta-blocators vasocardin. I taked a doxycyclin 400mg/day50 days because i was convinced that is some infection from tick. I

t was horrible days after as i taked doxy. i feeld that my eyes pained if i look to light, i listened some noise like whistle.my muscles shaked. every...in head,legs,arms.. After therapy was my status better about 50 percent.I waited on tests two months because of ATB activity. Lyme: WB, ELISA, NIF was negative,CD: cell imunodeficity,little T-cells and B-cells and lot of NK cells,Autoimunity:not. I taked a combinacion Clarytromicin ,fluconazol,plaquenil with support Imunor since christmas.It has improved very slow and i saw a fibers in my navel like cotton. I had problems during this combination with breathing and itching but one week before as i ended therapy it cleared off.

After therapy I feeled well but it is new symptoms like white tongue(candida?klebsiela?),problem with GI tract some like shacking of stomach but my main problems tachykardia,eyes,tinitus,pain of muscle,fatigue are out.Now a taking combination of ATB minocyclin+plaquenil+cotrixomazol suported by Imunor and silver. i feel healhty but this tongue and some fibers in navel is horiblle.what is it? I hve watched it and it growth just if i move if i perspire not in cold.and some times i feel some hair in mounth. please what is a treatment?Do i take some antifungals? please writte me.

I am ADD and bipolar. I was diagnosed long before experiencing Morgellon's symptoms. The conditions have worsened. I've had IBS most of my life. I have sinus allergies and prone to sinus infections. I have had fungal skin problems for years. I have had fibromyalgia for a few years. I have arthritis, osteoarthritis with deterioration in my hip, have bouts of tendintis and bursitis. I am menopausal and have not had a period for about 4 months.

I have had more depression and panic attacks in the last couple of years. I attempted suicide and spent a week in the hospital (Sept 08). My eyesight is rapidly declining. I have glaucoma in early stages. I believe it may have progressed recently. I am prone to vertigo. I have carpal tunnel syndrome. I live in a town where an air force base is located. I had surgery to repair my right shoulder (rotator cup) not long before Morgellons symptoms began. I only had severe symptoms for a few months. I have scars from some of the lesions. One lesion was pretty nasty and I was prescribed an antibiotic.

I was using cremes and antimicrobials that seemed to help. I forced myself to not mess with the lesions and have tried to stick to it. I am afraid to talk about it. I still feel the stinging and crawling sensations, but not as much as before. My husband has removed white cone shaped things from my back in the past and a few times recently. Some of the fibers I had before were stubborn and would just snap back when attempting to remove. I had the fuzz, black specs, etc.

Debilitating fatigue, intense paranoia and anxiety. Unable to bend or use fingers well due to massive infestations under all nailbeds. my feet are being completly eaten away. I feel my throat close and throw up tremendous amounts of parasite type things as well as always in feces. Increased urination. I remember the day I got it. I was sitting in the car on a very hot NC Aug day. I was wearing a new pair of cotton slacks and sweating. I suddenly felt several stinging sensations on my left leg. I thought it was a mosquito and scratched several times. That night when I took off my slacks, I noticed several inflamed lymph like bites on my leg. I thought they were infected mosquito bites. the next morning my left leg had about 30 lymphlike itchy sores - similar to chicken pox. The next day, my left leg was a horror. it had more that 100 lymph putules and my right leg had about 40. Al itched. I thought I had a recurrence of childhood chicken pox - the virus never leaves - goes dormant as I understand.

i took a sterilized needle to puncture the pustules to hasten the healing and I noticed a thin dark thread from one when I wipped the needle on the alchohol soaked cotton. That night I came across a web site about a strange new disease with threads coming out of the skin. I went back and proceeded to open more putules ( more were forming - not getting better. This time I removed the top skin layer and using tweezers, found a small insect like creature in EVERY putule sac. If I simply pierced the putules as I had done earlier, they would scab over again and not heal.

The eve of the 3rd day, I removed as many baby insects as I could. The next day, only the pustules witht the removed undeveloped insects, were starting to heal. It was the most disgusting period of my life. The insects removed looked like Morgellons pics #1. the bodies were dark and curled up with long threadlike legs. There appeared to be transparent undeveloped wings. Under a magnifying glass, they loked like microscopic mosquitoes. During this same period of time, I was getting itchy feelings on my feet, legs and entire body. I couldnt see anything but when I would scratch or brush away what I thought was a fly, I would feel and then see small tiny grains of "sand" where the itch was. It's a disgusting thing to realize that a life f! orm is u sing one's body as an incubator. Usually the bugs wait for one to die. I went to the health food store and did an intestinal cleanse. Things got even more bizaar. The things I passed looked like long dark worms and one gelatinous grey egg sac about 3 " across. I could see what looked like developing "tadpoles" inside.

I didn't know where to go for help or to have the things analyzed. I felt like I was crazy and trapped in a science fiction movie. My fiancee at the time (husband now), didn't want to know or see what was going on. I got some releaf by scrubbing with straight clorox in the shower, continually piercing and removing larve from the pustules, boiling every piece of fabric- sheets, linen clothing, inclorox. Now the only symptoms are the occassional feeling as though something is brushing against my skin, like a fly passing by. My husband now complains of bugs crawling under his skin, but I don't see any visible signs. You might ask your readers if they have done any strong intestinal cleanses and what the results were. Started coughing, then rash travelled over body, then noticed a wormlike thing coming out of sore on wrist, took worms killers mebendazole, went to doctors who gave me theabendazole, drank loads of piperzane syrup, covered myself in scabies might killer,had loads of cream eggs come out of joints,had worms come down nose after taking killers,a lump the size of an egg shot out in my neck, the hospital doctor thought it was calculus but couldn't get dye into saliva gland but a few days after the inside of my mouth festered & a load of blue & red fibers were on my teeth & when I scraped the ulcer in mouth my nail was full of red & blue fibers.

The blue & red fibers never moved only the white & clear worms moved, my skin has thickened over the years & grown fungus nothing would get rid of hard skin, i.e.:all fungal ointments, have been on & off antibiotics for years, I've just started using DSP cream & washing products also mouthwash, mouth has become much cleaner. have found cream especially helpful have used 4 jars in 2 weeks & am waiting for 4 more jars to come, skin turning white & layered & clearing up, giving me hope. get fatigue & joint pain but put that down to age, was always very active person.

Worm like grubs in face, lips mouth nose.Constantly running nose,persistant cough.Small lesions,black specs and black hair like fibres enter skin.Clothes ruined with holes,and yellow goo from something unseen.Loss of hair,CFS,multiple joint pains,had gastric probs.migraines,floaters in eyes, goo in eyes. Lost 2 teeth probs with gums.Have found the DSP mouthwash helped and the cream. Bug Arrest, Bicarbonate of soda, Hydrogen peroxide, grapefruit seed extract have all helped the skin. But still have a mass of red lines/blue lines under skin. Also have a numbness in legs/feet,this has suddenly appeared. Doctors in England do NOT what to know about this whatsoever. While ever they can go on making their diagnoses of 'fibromyalgia, cfs, bursitis, IBS, etc' that they don't know the cause of they are quite happy and useless.

Initial experience included bizare rash (puffy redness two inches diamiter), persistent scabies(subcutanous burrows; pain scale-extreme, although persistent scabies are now decidedly in remission, I continue to suffer regular subcutanous throbing & occasional bouts of topical itch accociated with Unexplained shiny black dots, and a rare revelation of friable black strands growing perpendicular to ether my finger or palm (reff topical itch syndrom). Currently persistent and stabil, with heavy antibiotic treatment. I am extreamly concerned about how this condition was aquired & how dangerous it is to others.

My sister a LVN works at Sutter hospital, she came down with this stuff last year and I got it about one month later, it has been living hell. After several trips to the doctors, I gave up and went to the internet. Found some things that help like Ivermectrin, clean free, amonia, silver and some additional things we found on your web-site, God Bless your work and keep up the good work I check your web site at least twice a week, can't wait to try your new washing soap. We experienced the first phase of this disease or whatever you want to call it, 2001-2002 here in the foothills of Northern California it spread like wildfire through the tri county area. The itching, the sores, you could see it on most people in the community.We went to the clinic many times, we were treated for scabies even though upon a skin scraping none were found. We treated the entire house, (laundry, linens, furniture, our own bodies,every surface in the house.)we did this at least 2 dozen times(no exageration!)it did not help!! It got so bad that I would not let company sit on our couches in fear they may give what ever it was back to us. We were only able to find some relief in salt baths,alot of salt, sometimes as much as a 4 lb bag per bath, per person,sometimes for a week straight.

This was our only relief for a year and a half.I mentioned that was the first phase, we are over the sores and itching however it is still among us!We still have symptoms such as chronic fatigue,gastro intestinal issues (that have hospitalized my wife several times). We can still see problems in our skin especially when we get out of the hot shower.You can see what I call burrows and you can see blue lines under the skin which do change location as if they are moving around under the skin. I dont want to call them fibers because I cant really relate to the pictures I have seen on the websites.Whatever this is ,whether its a new disease,nano tech, terrorism,goverment project gone wrong, hell I dont know!

The people need relief!!I keep trying to figure out how the hell we got it,we had it in 2001-2002, did I pick it up from crawling under a house in the dirt? (which I do everyday) and have caught fungi before or was it from my brief time in the military 1989 where while being discharged I could have been subjected to goverment testing,( I know this sounds far fetched however it would have been possible given the circumstances of my discharge which I do not have room here to explain here.)I can say I consider mys! elf smar ter than the average bear.( Top 2% of the nation upon entering the military) I have seen this affect my family and others in my community and I cannot come up with what the hell this is!! I have a history of candida and parasitic infections. Now looking back and through lots of reading I believe it to be Lymes/ Morgellons. I used to see fuzz-balls and red filaments in the bath in my 20s. These have now disappeared as I have constantly been on one type of de-tox progamme and de-worming regime since late 20s. However have not got to the bottom of my health problems. Have really suffered and considered taking my life on more than one occasion. I have one main skin lesion on right arm which periodically flares up.

Main symptoms are severe depression, mood swings, and digestive problems. Itching and crawling sensation on skin is moderate. I have a heavy and chronic worm infestation. I can feel them wriggling around have have been told that it is all in the mind !I believe heavy metal toxicity through lots of childhood and travel vaccinations have contributed to this condition. Also lots of trips to India and being bitten by mosquitos and other air-borne insects. Lots of trauma as a child as well. Interestingly I was bought up near an army base and had airplanes constantly flying over garden as a child. Have never made the connection. Have been moved from pillar to past by ignorant UK medical profession.

Makes me mad that they have contributed to my health condition and now take no responsibility. Had no knowledge about the dangers of vaccinations and mercury fillings. Also through your questionnaire remember almost having a type of personality transformation in my early 20s ( I believe i was infected then). Went from being shy to really extrovert and manic. Have finally found a specialist who treats lymes. Due to see him in early July. Very little info and knowledge about Morgellons in Uk. May have to come to USA for treatment. In heavy debt due to constantly trying new health regimes. Its a traversity !

I would love to find a Dr in the N.E. area who would accept this and "work" with me--All Drs. so far, will not "listen"when I suggest Morgellons. This started 3 yrs. ago on my right leg (3 months prior Levathoroxine was started & gradually inc'd to 100 & 112 mg-- now we suspect Furosimide may be some of the cause as well), and my left leg a few months later, moved to my right arm and then my left arm last winter.

This itches like crazy. Was bloody when scratched, later watery, now seems to "lump up" into bumps as it tries to heal. I ?? any relation to Elephantitis (don't know much about that) Cannot find a Dr who will"listen" about Morgellons (have seen 5 -6 dermatologists). I have thought this might be the problem for over 2 yrs-ever since I 1st heard of it. Disgusting when CDC Dr. suggested "Parasitosis delusional".

I can "tweeze out" little white "pcs" on my arms and wrist. Lab test 8/05 reported "NON-FUNGAL". 3 BIOPSIES reported back "PARASITES". Scabies, Lupus, Lyme, & Rheumatoid Arth. were all ruled out. I can remember my dad had something like this at age 60-65 and on till he died at age 83.

2005 I had facial/brow & lower face and stomach surgery in Costa Rica. The scar on my head started to itch as if one could tear their hair out. I have black fibers (some red/blue) that produce a worm like housing on my head with tiny black spots. There is a lot of fuzz/white then it turns to a worm like substance with black fiber strands...my scalp feels like it is being stung by a bee. I can brush my hair and get tiny black spots on the brush and comb...if I put them on tape they will develop into a bug/worm like substance.

I've seen 5 doctors and they do not know what this is and they state that they do not know what to tell me. They make you feel like you are a "crazy" person. I've brought samples to a MD, 2 dermatologist/ infectious disease MD, none of them have any answers. I contacted MRSA in my right ring finger after being jabbed by my mother's used insulin needle in Aug. 2006. It took 8 months to clear this up and Zyvox was the only med that eliminated this. All other antibiotics did not work. Every other month the infestation to my scap occurs and the itching is unbearable. I used the lice products, the scabies products with no relief.

I am in the field as a hairdresser/student for the past 11 months and I cannot do hair and be scratching my head constantly. I do not know where to go to get relief and answers. I've kept the specimens that I've collected from my scalp. The ones that I took to the doctors...they just threw them away...one MD treated me for ringworm of the scalp to no avail. I have tremendous fatiques and I've noted the my memory skills are getting worse. I am a diabetic on Gluctrol XL 5mg. I take Wellbutrin for AD.

Petrie dish bought on line by friend othertests => everything. Currently have a kidney infection because my Dr. is incompetant. My friend Linda told me I have to go to a larger city that has a University Hospital like phoenix and should see an infectious disease specialist and an epidemeologist and a parasitologist (studies parasites what pathogens => Staph and Mersa gethealed => Yes Comments => Everyone thinks I'm crazy except Linda.

She saw the petrie dish and the fibers and white filiment as well as the mold. I have had my dog in the kennel now for 3 months because I don't want her to get infected. I know I am not crazy and so does Linda. I am moving and I cant take anything with me because my condo and everything in it is infested. I've hired a lawyer because I know the landlord is just going to turn around and rent it to some other soul and also to sue my Doctor who has treated me with antipsychotics and topical Kenalog cream.

He never read my chart that showed I had a UTI (even though I had no symptoms) and now I have a kidney infection and can't hold my urine. I lost control of my bladder this week at WalMart 4 times in the same day! Please, please help me. the fibers are all over my body. Chin, legs, fingers, and scalp. I'm desperate to be rid of this and if they are in my body when I move to a new place, won't everything in the new place get infected too? Also if I go to someones house am I infecting their house?
